Oscar night!  A look at what they wore.

White was very popular on the night. Quite a few bold colours and of course the ever safe choice black. There was a definite theme of old hollywood glamour with the hair and make up as opposed to last years buns. THE WHITE GOWNS. Milla Jojovich was stunning in Ellie Saab one shoulder gown.It was stricking and classy with just the right amount of Jacob& co accessories. Octavia Spencer The Help was flawless in Tadashi Shoji dress staying loyal to this designer this awards season. This is an inspiring look for a full figured lady. The bead work was pulled to the centre accentuating her curves, Beautiful. Gwyneth Paltro looked fab in her Tom Ford dress and cape. Simple but so glamorous. Shayleen Woodley The Desendants, wore Valentino couture .Did not like this at all. Worst dressed for me. It looked like a 1970's wedding dress. All she needed was the wreath of flowers in her hair. She is only 20yrs old, too old for her. Roodey Mara The girl with the dragon tattoo, wore Givenchy. Simple but striking. She has been very consistent with her look this awards season. Again minimal make up with the strong red lip and the back of the dress the main feature. Very nice. Now quite a few COLOURS heading down the carpet. Michelle Wlliams in Louis Viutton coral peplem waist, pleated and ruffled, pixie hair and strong lips. Pretty , fits her body nicely. Best dress of her awards season. Emma stone Giambattista vali with LouisVuitton jewellery. Liked this but for me it was too much like Nicole Kidmans Valencia ca dress. Risky choice.Natalie Portman in red polka dot vintage Christain dior couture gown fron 1954 with a diamond necklace. Nice but im afraid it reminds me too much of my debs dress only nine was airforce blue with black polkas. Viola davis The Help  in a green form fitting Vera wang and braved the carpet au naturale minus a wig or weave. Brave choice but it worked for her. Penolope Cruz, Omg! Stunning! This lady got every thing right A complete top tp toe look. A Georgio Armani blue gown and Chopard Jewels. Vintage hollywood, the hair the make up was just perfect. Now THE BLACK DRESS, Disappointed with Sandra boullocks choice a Marchesa Black and white with a gold belt detail. Just think it did not fit properly. Rose byrne Bridesmaids. This lady gets it right. The white jumpsuit she wore to the globes was amaz! This Viviene Westwood sequined one shoulder dress was stunning with a bare back detail. Chanel jewels and Choo shoes. The sleek bob. Best of the Bridesmaids ladies. Angelina jolie, it really doesn't matter what this lady puts on she is always stunning. Versace Atelier. I liked the dress she wore to the Globes better it had more of thst wow factor we like to see at the oscars. But hey stunning. Jessica Chastain The Help in Mcqueen organza hand embroidered organza gown A very regal looking gown, risky chice for me because it so  patterned and heavy but her hair and make up was so flawless. Have to mention the first lady to step out on the carpet Ms Guliana Rancic in a stunning Tom Ford couture Spring 2000 with Jacob & Co jewellery. So elegant and gracefull. Wasn't feeling the hair would have liked a softer look for Guiles, she looked stunning as always. Loved it.
